Mindfulness Meditation for Sleep - Free class

Practicing Mindfulness Meditatation can help us to fall asleep and stay asleep. Mindfulness helps you to relax. It helps you to become more aware of your thoughts and let go of your anxieties. Studies have shown that mindfulness may be at least as effective as other highly recommended insomnia treatments.

You can try a body scan meditation while lying in bed before you go to sleep or if you wake during the night, It can help you to relax and release tension.

Having an end of day gratitude practice can help evoke plesant emotions and soothe you to sleep. Thinking of something positive, like a loved family or friend, deeds people have done for you or the things to look forward to in your life can reduce worry and help you to sleep.

A daily meditation practice can help you to relax, focus and deal with stress and worry that may be stopping you from falling asleep.

I offer a free Mindfulness meditation for sleep class every second monday of the month from 8.15pm.
