Mindfulness

Our group mindfulness classes are suitable for both those completely new to mindfulness or those more advanced in their practice.

Each class includes mindfulness learning and guided meditation. The amount of learning that is in-formal (i.e. not meditation practice) will depend on the type of class so see the class schedule page for more information on the actual class itself. The classes, workshops and courses offered are varied with times and dates so you can choose what suits you the most.

We have drop-in classes (in person and online) where the content is varied so you can attend as often as you wish, these classes usually last about an hour in duration. There is time for reflection and I hold a safe and supportive space where people can share their experiences if they wish to do so. You can sit on a chair provided or you can bring a mat/cushion if you prefer to sit/lie on the floor.

In-person drop-in group classes:

Warrington at Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful on a Tuesday evening at 7.45pm .

St. Helens at Park Farm Community Centre on a Thursday evening at 6.30pm.

We also offer an 8 week Mindfulness Now course as a group and as an individual that uses a combination of MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) techniques. Completing this course has the potential to have a profound beneficial impact on your mental health and physical health. The classes are 1.5 hours in duration and include some home study.

Mindful art classes

Once a month online

Our group art classes combine mindfulness with art so you can get into your flow and free your creativity. Promoting relaxation and self-healing. You will begin with a guided meditation to help calm you and get your creativity flowing. There will be theme for each class based around the meditation. Relaxing music will then be played. You can follow the theme of the class, just do your own thing or just use the colouring sheet provided.

You will need some colouring pencils/pens/paint and some paper, whatever is your preferred option.

The class is every first Friday of the month at 2pm.
