From different pathways,

We discovered the clearing.

None knew what we would find there,

Some didn’t realise what they were looking for.

From different pathways,

We discovered the clearing.

None of us knew each other,

Some of us didn’t know ourselves.

From different pathways,

We discovered the clearing.

All rested a while in the calmness of the clearing,

All shared our thoughts in the comfort of the clearing.

From different pathways,

We discovered the calmness and comfort of the clearing.

Time and again returning to the clearing,

We came to realise that from different pathways we would always find
